2nd Film Screening: Charlie Bowers "He Done His Best" (1926)

This was the second film screening event hosted by Eiga Kukan Nakano. The film screened was "The Automatic Restaurant" (1926, 23 minutes), directed by and starring Charlie Bowers. This film, which was released nationwide in Japan in 2022, was screened with its original musical accompaniment from the Japanese theatrical release. There were four screenings over two days, with the 3:00 PM screening on October 26th being specifically for families with children. Both days were a great success.
