4th Film Screening: Charlie Bowers "Now You Tell One" (1926)

[Overview] This was the final installment of the Charlie Bowers retrospective presented by Eiga Kukan Nakano. The film screened was "The Merry Club" (1926, approximately 20 minutes), directed by and starring Charlie Bowers. It is considered an important work that sparked the rediscovery of Bowers' work. Pamphlets were also sold. Following the screening, "Imaginary Cinema Vol. 3" was held, featuring a discussion about cinema ticket prices and participants' favorite films. This marked the conclusion of the four-part Charlie Bowers screening series at Artspace Irisa Iwazaki Shouten.
