Kenichi Takagi Solo Exhibition

[Overview]
This was a solo exhibition by Kenichi Takagi, an artist residing in Fuji City, Shizuoka Prefecture. The exhibition featured two-dimensional works using watercolors, oils, crayons, and acrylics, as well as three-dimensional works using wood and cardboard. In addition to new works created to fit the wall space, smaller pieces were scattered throughout the space, such as in the gaps of bookshelves and corners of fixtures, creating an exhibition layout where viewers could discover them themselves. Works resulting from his habit of drawing 10 postcards a day for approximately 20 years were also exhibited and sold.

Kenichi Takagi
Born in Fuji City, Shizuoka Prefecture in 1976; currently resides in Fuji City.
Graduated from the Fine Art Department of Sokkei Art School in 1997.
Solo exhibitions at Gallery Natsuka in 2000, 2002, and 2004.
Solo exhibitions at Fuji Art Village in 2004 and 2019.
Winner of the Grand Prize at the 11th Paper Art Festival in 2019.
Numerous other group exhibitions.
