AIR01 Olivia Aimés: Tending the Land

[Overview]
This exhibition showcases the work of Canadian mixed-media artist Olivia Aimés, who was part of the first artist-in-residence program in Numazu. Based on two years of field research in Southeast Asia, the exhibition features installations using natural materials directly sourced from agricultural practices. Through a critical questioning of unsustainable monoculture and factory farming, the work explores the intersection of human intervention, the environment, and social issues.
