Suzuki Sachiko Solo Exhibition Returning to Now

[Overview]
A solo exhibition by Sachiko Suzuki, an artist born in Mie Prefecture and currently residing in Shizuoka Prefecture. This exhibition will showcase two-dimensional works that express the layering of time and the present moment by overlaying landscape sketches and memories using oil paint and beeswax (encaustic). A beeswax painting workshop and gallery talk are planned in conjunction with the exhibition. A café will also be open on both days.

Sachiko Suzuki
Born in Mie Prefecture in 1976, currently residing in Shizuoka Prefecture
Graduated from Kyoto Seika University, Faculty of Fine Arts in 1999
Completed graduate studies at the same university's Graduate School of Art in 2001
2006: 21st Holbein Scholarship Recipient
2020: Hamamatsu City Kamoe Art Center Artist-in-Residence participation
Participated in numerous group exhibitions both domestically and internationally, including Ferkel Museum (Shizuoka), Ise Museum of Contemporary Art (Mie), Art Kageyama (Shizuoka), BAMI gallery (Kyoto), and the "Kakegawa Tea Biennale."
